Welcome - to the Palmetto Ballroom Dance Club website. Feel free to check out the site and use our links to the internet dance world.
Purpose - The purpose of the Palmetto Ballroom Dance Club is to promote ballroom dancing in the Pee Dee area and to educate the public about the physical and social benefits of ballroom dancing.
Activities - Affordable social dance programs are the cornerstone of the club’s activities. These programs include monthly social dances to the music provided by an area DJ. The social dance programs of the club also include exhibitions by amateurs and mixers. Singles are welcome at all club dances. Admission charges are kept to a minimum for members and for non-members. Membership is open to all 21 years and older.
Shoes - Please wear leather or suede soled shoes. Neoprene (black) soles leave black marks on the floor that members clean up at the end of the dance.
Food - Members and guests may bring your favorite side, hors d'oeuvre or dessert to share with the club.
Door Prizes - Make the evening fun, please consider donating a small gift to be given away.
Membership - $20 per person. Entry fee for members - $5, Guests - $10 per person.
Location - Leatherman Senior Center. The center is located at 600 Senior Way, off of Pamplico Highway, next door to Freedom Florence, in Florence, South Carolina.
